The purpose of this role is to help Park Hill Insurance continue to grow by connecting with prospective clients, building relationships, and introducing them to the level of service and personal attention that sets our agency apart.
This position is an important part of our overall business because growth starts with conversations. Job Responsibilities
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers and insurance leads provided by Park Hill Insurance.
• Speak with homeowners, real estate investors, landlords, and other potential clients about their insurance needs.
• Introduce prospective clients to Park Hill Insurance and explain the services and support our agency provides.
• Ask basic qualifying questions to better understand each prospect’s insurance needs and determine the appropriate next step.
• Follow up with prospective customers by phone, text, and email.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up conversations with prospective clients.
• Accurately enter and update customer and prospect information in the company CRM.
• Keep detailed notes regarding conversations, follow-ups, and customer needs.
• Work through assigned lead lists and maintain an organized daily follow-up schedule.
• Complete company-paid online insurance licensing courses and required pre-licensing education.
• Earn the required licensing education credits while working toward becoming a licensed insurance professional.
• Study and prepare for the state insurance licensing examination with training and support provided by Park Hill Insurance.
• Successfully complete the state insurance licensing exam as you progress in the position.
• Continue ongoing education and training after becoming licensed to develop knowledge of insurance products, carriers, coverage options, and industry requirements.
• Learn how to identify opportunities for homeowners, landlord, investment property, auto, and other property and casualty insurance products.
• Assist licensed team members with gathering information needed to prepare insurance quotes while working toward your own license.
• Once licensed, begin taking on additional responsibilities related to quoting, advising customers, and developing new insurance business.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes and help move prospective customers through the sales process.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and referral partners.
• Meet individual activity goals for calls, conversations, follow-ups, appointments, and new business opportunities.
• Participate in sales meetings, coaching sessions, role-playing, and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude when representing Park Hill Insurance.
• Follow all company procedures and applicable insurance regulations.
• Work closely with the Park Hill Insurance team to provide customers with fast, responsive, high-quality service.
Qualifications
College coursework, an associate degree, or bachelor’s degree is welcomed but not required.Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, call centers, or other customer-facing positions is helpful but not required.
