Art of Drawers is looking for a self-motivated Sales & Design Consultant to help homeowners improve the organization, accessibility, and functionality of their kitchens, bathrooms, and pantries.
No design experience is required. We provide complete product, design, and sales training.
COMPANY:
Art of Drawers is a premium home improvement franchise with 45+ locations nationwide. We specialize in custom pull-out drawers and organization solutions for existing cabinets. Our products are made in the USA and backed by a Lifetime Warranty and 100% Elation Guarantee.
THE PRODUCT:
Design Consultants meet homeowners in their homes, identify their needs, take measurements, design customized solutions, and present pricing.  Projects typically range from $1,500 to $15,000+, with an average order of approximately $6,000.
HOW YOU GET APPOINTMENTS:This position starts as a self-generated sales role. You will build your initial pipeline through your personal and professional network, customer referrals, networking, community relationships, and referral partners.
There is no required cold calling, door-to-door sales, or telemarketing.
Once you successfully complete 10 self-generated sales, you become eligible to receive company-generated marketing appointments in addition to your own opportunities. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating opportunities rather than waiting for leads to be handed to them.
COMPENSATION:Design Consultants earn 16%-19% commission based on performance. With an average project of approximately $6,000, there is significant earning potential for someone who consistently generates appointments and closes business.
TRAINING:
We provide a structured certification program including product and design education, sales training, field shadowing, five paid practice appointments ($50 each), and ongoing coaching.
Previous in-home sales, home improvement, real estate, interior design, business development, or relationship-based sales experience is preferred but not required.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, outgoing, coachable, comfortable asking for referrals, confident meeting homeowners, and motivated by performance-based compensation.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:Qualified candidates will complete a brief phone screening followed by an interactive interview covering the position, compensation, training, and expectations.
Compensation: $60-$100+ per hour equivalent (commission-based:16%-19% commission based on performance)
