Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
A bit about us:We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and detail-oriented Permanent Hybrid Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your extensive knowledge of the legal field to assist our attorneys in preparing for trials, managing large-scale document reviews, and guiding cases through the discovery process. You will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, managing case files using legal case management software, and preparing for depositions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Florida court and US district court procedures, relativity, trial preparation, electronic filing systems, and legal document preparation. This position requires a commitment to a minimum of 1600 billable hours per year.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
- Conduct initial case investigations to determine, in consultation with the legal team, the case details and evidence.
- Manage large-scale and complex document reviews, utilizing your expertise in relativity and electronic filing systems.
- Guide cases through the discovery process, ensuring all relevant documents and information are properly organized and readily accessible.
- Ensure legal compliance in all operations and advise on potential risks.
- Prepare for depositions by conducting thorough research, organizing relevant documents, and coordinating with witnesses and experts.
- Utilize legal case management software to track cases and produce reports.
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal correspondence.
- Assist in trial preparation by compiling, organizing, and indexing evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of Florida court and US district court procedures.
- Proficiency in legal case management software, relativity, and electronic filing systems.
- Exceptional ability to manage large-scale document reviews and guide cases through the discovery process.
- Excellent understanding of legal compliance and risk management.
- Proven experience in trial preparation, including the preparation of legal documents and preparation for depositions.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 1600 billable hours per year.
- Strong research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent is preferred.
