HR Onboarding Assistant | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Richmond, VA 23227 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $21/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
HR Onboarding Assistant | Summary and Highlights:
The HR Onboarding Assistant supports the HR team with day-to-day pre-hire and onboarding administration across multiple site locations. This role focuses on coordinating onboarding documentation, tracking onboarding progress, and supporting clear communication with new hires and office staff to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Job Responsibilities
HR Onboarding Assistant | Responsibilities:
- Support HR onboarding workflows for multiple site locations aligned to the Home Health segment
- Upload and manage onboarding documentation (e.g., I-9s, offer letters, sign-on bonus documentation) within the document management system
- Use the E-Verify system to support I-9 compliance activities
- Prepare routine reports and status updates related to onboarding progress and open items
- Coordinate communications with employees and office staff regarding Day 1 actions and orientation registration
- Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned by the Human Resources team
Qualifications
HR Onboarding Assistant | Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- MUST have previous administrative experience – healthcare industry preferred
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable preparing basic reports and written correspondence (email/status updates)
