    Position Overview

    Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking Human Resources Assistant 2 professionals to provide administrative and clerical HR support across areas including employee records, benefits, education and training, employment, compensation, and equal employment opportunity.

    The selected candidates will maintain accurate personnel records, handle sensitive and confidential personnel information, prepare reports and statistics, and provide HR policy and procedure information to employees and authorized individuals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform general human resources and clerical administrative tasks.

    • Maintain manual and automated employee personnel records.

    • Collect, compile, and maintain sensitive and confidential personnel information.

    • Prepare personnel reports, statistics, and related documentation.

    • Support HR activities involving:

    • Employee records

    • Benefits

    • Education and training

    • Employment

    • Compensation

    • Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

    • Provide personnel-related information to authorized individuals and agencies in accordance with established procedures.

    • Respond to employee questions regarding personnel policies and procedures.

    • Ensure HR records and information are maintained accurately and confidentially.

    • Follow established company procedures and HR administrative processes.

    Basic Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 2 years of additional education and/or relevant experience
