The American Indian College Fund is dedicated to transforming lives and communities by increasing access to higher education for Native students. As the largest and highest-rated American Indian nonprofit organization, the Fund has provided over $237.1 million to support tribal college education. Empowering more than 4,000 Native students annually, the organization supports not only scholarships but also funding for tribally controlled colleges and cultural preservation activities. The College Fund is looking for an HRBP, ER to support a fair, consistent, and values-aligned employee experience through employee relations, workplace investigations, onboarding, org-wide people trainings, employee engagement, and manager and employee guidance. The Team : Our People Operations team is made up of Learning & Development, HR, and Building & Facilities. We collaborate to create a workplace where our staff is supported in their experience, work, and development. What you’ll do: We are looking for a thoughtful, steady, and people-centered HR business partner with sound judgment, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to handle sensitive workplace matters with confidentiality and care. This role independently manages routine to moderately complex employee relations concerns and investigations, leads onboarding and org-wide people trainings, supports employee engagement and culture-building efforts with a DEI lens, and escalates high-risk issues only when needed, including matters involving senior leadership, legal risk, or significant organizational impact. This role reports into the People Operations Director and is expected to travel no more than 10% of the time. This is a hybrid position based in Denver starting with 3 days in office during onboarding then transitioning into 2 days in office. Your Day to Day
