    Description – HR Support Representative

    Summary:
    The HR Support Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for escalated Human Resources inquiries during a company-wide migration from a legacy UKG timekeeping system to UKG Pro. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve complex HR issues with professionalism and efficiency. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and supporting employees across various departments.

    Job at a glance:
    • $15/hr + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
    • Shifts Available: 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM EST
    • Fully Remote
    Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated HR inquiries from employees.
    • Interpret and apply HR policies, payroll guidelines, and tax-related issues.
    • Investigate and resolve complex employee relations concerns in accordance with SLAs.
    • Support the transition to UKG Pro by assisting employees with system navigation and troubleshooting.
    • Collaborate with HR Advisors and other departments to ensure alignment and resolution of issues.
    • Maintain and update internal databases to improve inquiry resolution rates.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and knowledge sharing.
    • Assist with onboarding and mentoring of new HR support staff.
    • Provide phone support and manage high call volumes as needed.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up on all employee interactions.
    • Maintain regular, punctual attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends, or overtime as needed.
    Required Skills:
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in HR support, customer service, or shared services environment.
    • Familiarity with Workday (preferred) and willingness to learn UKG Pro.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
    • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
