Description

Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

PAY: $40.27 per hour W 2
ONSITE 

Summary:

  • The Human Resources Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources Department by administering a variety of HR functions.
  • Work Mode: Primarily office-based environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate orientation and hiring activities.
  • Screen applications, schedule interviews, and conduct preliminary candidate assessments.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment activities.
  • Administer leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other applicable leave policies.
  • Support performance evaluation processes.
  • Assist managers with employee development plans and coaching strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain personnel files and HR records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain employee information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance preferred.
  • Experience with ADP preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and related requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
