About the Role:Patriot Portable Restrooms is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Government and Municipal Sales Representative to join our growing team in Carlsbad, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a trusted name in portable sanitation services, building lasting partnerships with government agencies, municipalities, and public sector clients across the Southern California region.
Responsibilities:- Prospect, develop, and manage relationships with government agencies, municipalities, military, school districts, CAL Fire and public sector accounts
- Identify and pursue bid opportunities, RFPs, and government contracts for portable restroom services
- Conduct site assessments and consultations to recommend appropriate portable sanitation solutions
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, quotes, and presentations to key decision-makers
- Maintain an active pipeline and accurately track activity using CRM software
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and municipal meetings to grow brand visibility and network
Requirements:- 2+ years of B2B with government/municipal sales experience required
- Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, RFPs, and contract bidding
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Experience in portable sanitation, construction services, or facilities management is a plus
