    Program Overview

    Program Name Global Human Resources (GHR) Development Program Associate - 2027

    Program Purpose & Objectives Global Human Resources (GHR) Development Program is designed to introduce students to Bank of Americas organization that is responsible for making Bank of America a great place to work by serving as a strategic partner to every business across the enterprise. The program provides hands-on experience, professional development and exposure to leaders across the enterprise while building foundational skills for a career in Human Resources.

    Duration & Structure 2-year rotational program. Associates are placed on one team within Global Human Resources and participate in structured training, project-based work, mentorship, networking opportunities, and professional development sessions throughout the summer.

    Role Overview

    Role Titles Global Human Resources Development Associate

    Role Purpose Associates support key human resources initiatives while gaining hands-on experience and exposure to senior HR leaders. Participants contribute to business advisory work, HR operations and special projects that align talent strategy with business objectives. Rotations and exposure to the following sub-lines of business could include: The Academy, Compensation & Benefits, Global Employee Relations, Global Talent, Talent Acquisition, Governance, Operations, Analytics & Transformation, HR Generalists, Life Event Services, and Opportunity & Inclusion.

    Educational Requirements

    Degree Type Masters Degree or MBA degree program • Considered candidates should be in their penultimate year of school • Masters candidates should have at least 3 years of full-time professional experience

    Graduation Dates November 2026 - August 2027

    Major/Course of Study Industrial or Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Communications, Industrial and Labor Relations, Organizational Development, or related fields

    Preferred Skillsets • Applies analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, evaluate multiple inputs, and generate insights that inform HR and business decisions. • Demonstrates sound judgment in ambiguous or multi-stakeholder situations, independently identifies risks, trade-offs, and practical solutions. • Delivers clear, concise verbal and written communication tailored to senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups. • Builds trusted relationships across functions, effectively influences partners, and navigates competing priorities. • Quickly assimilates new information, tools, and HR practices; adapts approach in response to evolving business needs. • Ensures high quality execution, data accuracy, and adherence to governance standards across deliverables. • Manages workstreams independently, takes accountability for outcomes, and drives initiatives forward with minimal oversight. • Demonstrates leadership behaviors including decision ownership, critical thinking, coaching mindset, and the ability to lead through change. • Applies HR systems, analytics tools, and AI-enabled platforms (e.g., Copilot, HRIS platforms) to improve efficiency and insight generation.
