General Manager Needed

Omaha, Nebraska

Salary: 70 to 80k

Restaurant is a dinner only, Legacy Italian restaurant in Omaha, NE in operation for over 25 years, providing fine Sicilian cuisine. Dinner only 7 days a week.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient, profitable operations. This role requires a strong leader passionate about hospitality, with excellent customer service skills, and the ability to inspire and manage a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Ensure a memorable dining experience for all guests. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

• Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.

• Operations: Oversee daily operations, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, budget, control costs, and generate revenue. Analyze reports for improvement areas.

• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of Pasta Amore's food quality and presentation. Ensure menu consistency with the kitchen staff and Chef.

• Community Engagement: Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to enhance the restaurant’s reputation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in hospitality.

• Strong customer service and leadership skills.

• Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to adapt with the use of technology in the restaurant.
