General Liability Associate Attorney

One of our client firms that is a nationally renowned litigation law firm concentrating on complex civil matters. 

They are seeking a associate level attorney to join their firm.

It is a hybrid role with 2 days in office!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of Texas.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Conduct depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Review and analyze discovery requests.
• Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.
• Trial preparation and support.
• Maintain accurate time records.

 Candidate Requirements: 

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Defense Litigation in Product Liability and/or Toxic Tort 
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
• Experience with motion practice and depositions.
• Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Capable of independent work.
• Work in an organized and efficient manner.
• Superior research and writing skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to analyze complex matters.
