Front desk receptionist/ Spa Assistant

We’re Hiring: Part-Time Spa Assistant

Aesthetica Organic Spa is looking for a part-time Spa Assistant to join our team.

We are a 3 years old small, growing spa, and the way we work is very much as a team. Everyone helps with the day-to-day work that keeps the spa running smoothly. This position is not just about sitting at the front desk. Some days you may be greeting clients and answering the phone, while other days you may be helping prepare a treatment room, folding laundry, organizing products, helping with decorations, or supporting one of our therapists.

We believe that every person on our team contributes to the experience our clients have when they walk through our doors. 

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients with warmth and assist with the check-in and check-out process.

• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with scheduling appointments.

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area, relaxation spaces, and treatment rooms.

• Turn over treatment rooms between clients, including changing linens and resetting equipment.

• Help with ongoing spa laundry duties (washing, drying, folding, and stocking towels and linens).

• Manage product displays, assist with inventory restocking, and support seasonal decor updates.

• Assist estheticians and massage therapists with room prep and general support as needed.

• Help manage and promote our social media platforms
• Participate as a spokesperson or model for the Spa when needed
• Attend training courses and team meetings

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a spa/salon environment is a plus, but not required.

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask, stay proactive, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

• Flexibility to work on Saturdays or at events as required by the schedule.

• Physical ability to lift up to 25lbs (for laundry and product boxes).

• Fluent in English and knowledge of Spanish is a plus. 

Position Details

• Hours: Part-time (20-30 hours per week)

• Pay: $14 – $17 per hour (depending on experience)
