A growing Southern California builder specializing in custom homes, luxury residential construction, additions, and large-scale renovations is seeking an experienced Framing Superintendent to oversee field operations during the structural phase of construction.Â
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands residential framing inside and out and can manage crews, schedules, and quality while keeping projects moving efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all framing activities on custom home and residential construction projects
- Coordinate framing crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality expectations
- Review plans and specifications to verify framing layouts and structural requirements
- Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget
- Maintain jobsite safety standards and conduct regular site walkthroughs
- Work closely with Project Managers and ownership teams throughout construction
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Lead Foreman, or Framing Superintendent
- Strong background in custom homes, luxury residential, or high-end renovation projects
- Extensive knowledge of wood framing methods and residential construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and structural drawings
- Proven experience managing crews, schedules, and subcontractors
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
