What You''ll Be Doing
This position is within the General Services Administration Department and supports Facilities, Security Controlled Systems, Security Network, and Fleet Operations. The role includes maintaining critical database integrations across multiple enterprise platforms, providing ongoing server and workstation maintenance, and applying intermediate networking and Cisco switch configuration skills to ensure reliable system connectivity. The role also develops and maintains custom Power BI reports and dashboards and manages SharePoint sites for document management, workflow automation, and cross-departmental collaboration. Systems and data support are essential to each department''s business operations.

About Our Team
Fleet Management is one of the 4 core businesses of the General Services Administration Department (GSA), along with Facility Management, General Government and Criminal Justice Support. Fleet Management provides a streamlined lifecycle process by consolidating all phases of a vehicles life, grouped by the three core functions of 1) Asset, 2) Service and 3) Fuel Management. Within these functions, fleet provides 1) vehicle inventory, corporate fleet budget, lease and chargebacks as well as vehicle resale 2) vehicle maintenance and repairs, parts management, vehicle graphics and detailing, specialty equipment installations, towing, rental pool and 3) County owned fuel site management, fuel outsourcing, alternative fuels, and fuel chargebacks. IT is Fleet Managements Mission to provide a well-managed competitive, environmentally responsible Fleet to Wake County and its customers.
