Job Summary

The Facilities Engineer will support the design, evaluation, modification, and improvement of manufacturing and industrial facility equipment. This role involves engineering research, feasibility analysis, equipment performance evaluation, technical documentation, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Research facility equipment specifications and performance requirements to develop designs compatible with existing manufacturing and processing methods.
• Review engineering proposals, process requirements, and technical data related to industrial facility machinery and equipment.
• Evaluate the feasibility of new or modified facility equipment based on cost, available space, timelines, planning, and technical factors.
• Provide technical information on manufacturing processes, materials, properties, advantages, and limitations for facility and product engineering planning.
• Research and compile facility engineering data to establish performance standards for new or modified equipment.
• Stay current with technical developments and industry changes through engineering and technical publications.
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering activities.
• Guide projects and coordinate project teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience and training.
• 4 6 years of related Facilities Engineering experience.
• Experience with manufacturing or industrial facilities.
• Experience with facility equipment design, modification, or engineering feasibility studies.
• Knowledge of equipment specifications, performance requirements, and technical data analysis.
• Experience using computer-assisted engineering/design tools.
• Strong project coordination and team collaboration skills.
• Critical Power Industry experience preferred.
• Clean room experience preferred.
