Position Specific Description

We are seeking a highly organized Executive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the NextEra Energy Development leadership team.

In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks with varying priorities, including coordinating travel and accommodations, managing calendars and appointments, prioritizing communications and correspondence, scheduling conference calls and meetings with internal and external stakeholders, preparing expense reports, and handling other general administrative responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail. This individual should have experience supporting senior executives, exercise the highest level of discretion and confidentiality, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a bias for action, and maintain a positive, professional attitude.

This position is based fully onsite at our Juno Beach, Florida headquarters.

Job Overview

This job provides secretarial and administrative support directly to executives. Employees in this role exercise confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail
  • Manages schedules, appointments and calendars
  • Arranges business travel, coordinates meeting arrangements and processes expense reports
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and effectively and willingly adjusts to changes in priority and direction
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
