Event Marketing Assistant - Entry Level

About the Role

As an Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant, you’ll support the execution and growth of assigned marketing campaigns while helping increase brand awareness, customer engagement, sales, and customer retention.

You’ll represent brands at local events, retail promotions, community activations, and experiential marketing campaigns while developing valuable skills in:

• Event marketing

Key Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant, you will:

• Support the planning and execution of event marketing and promotional campaigns
• Assist with customer acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives
• Represent partner brands professionally at local events and retail promotional locations
• Interact directly with customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Support sales growth through retail marketing and promotional campaigns
• Increase brand awareness through experiential marketing, community events, and promotional activations
• Assist with campaign execution, daily operations, and performance initiatives
• Identify customer needs and communicate appropriate products, services, or solutions
• Develop strong communication, leadership, sales, and interpersonal skills
• Work independently on assigned projects while collaborating with the marketing team
• Address customer questions and concerns in a professional and solutions-focused manner
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs

Qualifications & Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are:

• Available to work full-time hours, including some weekends for special events
• Strong verbal and written communicators
• Comfortable interacting directly with customers and representing brands professionally
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
• Organized, self-motivated, creative, and results-oriented
• Strong problem-solvers who can make professional decisions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• Eager to learn and develop new marketing and business skills
• Willing to travel approximately 1–2 weeks per year for additional training and professional development

A bachelor’s or associate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Previous experience in marketing, sales, customer service, events, retail, hospitality, or advertising is a plus. Paid training is provided.
