Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager will lead the growth and profitability of a defined multi-state territory with a primary focus on asphalt emulsions, pavement preservation products, and related specialty asphalt technologies. The position is responsible for market development, customer relationship management, financial performance, operational coordination, industry engagement, and talent development while serving as a key technical and commercial resource within the region.

Responsibilities:
I) Role: Regional Market Development
Responsibility: Develop, grow, and defend market share for asphalt emulsions, pavement preservation products, and related specialty asphalt solutions throughout the assigned territory.
Expectations:
II) Role: Financial/Position Management
Responsibility: Manage the financial performance and strategic positioning of the emulsions business throughout the assigned territory.

III) Role: Operational Management
Responsibility: Ensure exceptional product quality, supply reliability, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Expectations:
Coordinate closely with operations, technical services, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manage customer demand forecasts and communicate anticipated needs to manufacturing facilities.
Support efficient inventory management at production facilities and terminals.
Assist in resolving supply disruptions and proactively communicate with customers regarding changes or delays.
Monitor logistics performance to ensure cost-effective transportation and dependable service.
Evaluate and assist with resolution of customer concerns, product claims, and field performance issues.
Support quality control programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in product testing, demonstrations, and field evaluations when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including:
Product certifications and quality standards
Environmental regulations
Anti-trust compliance
Intellectual property requirements
Employment laws and business ethics standards
Promote a culture of safety throughout all customer interactions and facility visits.

Position Summary
The Environmental Engineer is responsible for managing environmental permitting, compliance, and project support for assigned asphalt and emulsions manufacturing facilities. This role serves as a key environmental resource to Operations and EHS teams, ensuring facilities comply with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting operational and capital projects across the company's national footprint.
This position works independently on routine matters and collaborates closely with plant leadership, corporate teams, and regulatory agencies to mitigate environmental risk and support business objectives.

Location: Tampa, FL
Headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi, Ergon, Inc., and its consolidated subsidiaries are built on a foundation of petroleum-related enterprises begun in 1954 by its Chairman, Leslie B. Lampton.
