The Work

Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Supports and participates in negotiations with customer. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

In this Engineering Planner role, you will:

• Track program Cost Account and provide financial reports.
• Assist with Program/Team coordination and planning.
• Develop and maintain Team schedule.
• Provide support in JIRA to Baseline Development Lead and Product Owner for various agile items.
• Maintain staffing profiles and organizational resource needs, utilizing Vemo as needed

Standard Lockheed Martin Job Description:

Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited College
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CAM with thorough knowledge in Earned Value Management
• Current CAM certification, with experience using tools like PM Compass, PPM Tracker, and GenBOE
• Experience using Microsoft Office tool suite
• Experience performing administrative duties including record keeping, data entry/analysis, and report generation
• Effectively able to communicate with customers, stakeholders, and teammates
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills

• Experience using Vemo to manage workforce planning
• Experience using Tableau to analyze and visualize data
• Familiarity with Agile; experience using JIRA to track and status work
• Self-starter, able to follow direction but also anticipate gaps and needs, and resolve proactively
• Experience in data collection and analysis & presentation of performance metrics
• Ability to work under fluctuating schedules and firm deadlines

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
