Job Title: Empower Test Analyst/BA
Location: Teaneck, NJ 07666
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Remote
Responsibilities
  • Develop test plans, cases, and scripts for Empower LOS workflows including Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing.
  • Validate configuration, document management, and third-party integrations including RealEC and Equifax.
  • Conduct UAT cycles and regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
  • Elicit business requirements and track them through closure and BRD sign-off.
  • Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
  • Perform post-production validation and participate in defect triage sessions.
  • Track and document defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, and TestRail.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams for timely defect resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to CFPB guidelines including ATR, QM, and TRID, as well as other mortgage regulations.
  • Provide usability and performance feedback from an end-user perspective.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in training business users on testing procedures and system usage.
Top Skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Empower LOS and a good understanding of mortgage lending workflows.
  • Strong requirement elicitation and management skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
