The initial compensation for this position ranges from $21.44 - $26.37 per hour; depending on experience, location and internal equity considerations

Responsible for developing job leads and placing adults with mental illness in competitive employment positions in the community.
Responsibilities:
Assesses clients’ skills, interests, and employment goals through one-on-one consultations.
Researches and identifies job opportunities that align with client qualifications and career objectives.
Assists clients with resume development, cover letters, and interview preparation.
Provides coaching on job search strategies and workplace readiness.
Develops and maintains relationships with employers to identify hiring needs and job openings.
Markets clients to potential employers and advocates on their behalf.
Coordinates job interviews and follows up with employers and clients post-placement.
Tracks client progress and maintains accurate case notes and documentation.
Collaborates with workforce programs, training providers, and other community resources.
Organizes job fairs, hiring events, and employer presentations when applicable.
Monitors job market trends and advises clients accordingly.
Ensures client placements meet program goals and funding requirements.
Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or other related field and four (4) years of related experience providing employment rehabilitation services for the mentally ill or a demonstrated ability, or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education) to include:
Experience providing employment rehabilitation services for the mentally ill or a demonstrated ability.
A working knowledge of the community job market,
Demonstrated skills working effectively with the homeless and dually diagnosed population.
A working knowledge of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation model, .Basic knowledge of public policies relative to member population and associated programs
