Editor/Writer I

Location:

100% Remote – Preferably Local Candidates

Salary Range:

Pay rate: Up to $32 an hr on W2.

Introduction

This position is for a strong writer and editor with a high level of proficiency with WordPress. The role involves updating website content, including images, and reviewing with meticulous detail for grammar and accuracy. Light image editing or graphic design experience is a plus. The candidate should be a reliable communicator among many cross-functional teams, with the ability to initiate conversations and see projects through. The role requires collaboration on important and at times sensitive university communications and adopting multiple technical platforms for digital content, such as SEMrush, Funnelback, Localist, etc. The candidate should be highly organized.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proficiency with WordPress
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience updating website content
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Light image editing or graphic design experience
• Experience with SEMrush, Funnelback, Localist, etc.
• Experience in handling sensitive communications

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Update and edit website content

• Ensure accuracy and grammatical correctness of content
