Job Title: Educational Editor/Writer 
Duration: 1 Month Contract with possible extension (LOA role)
Location: Remote
Pay rate: 32.00 per hr on W2
Work hours: 8:30am – 5pm, 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

• Strong writer and editor with high level of proficiency with WordPress.
• Experience updating website content including images and reviewing with meticulous detail for grammar and accuracy. Light image editing or graphic design experience a plus. Reliable communicator among many cross-functional teams; ability to initiate conversations and see projects through.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others while handling important and at times sensitive university communications.
• Facility adopting multiple technical platforms for digital content, such as SEMrush, Funnelback, Localist, etc. Highly organized.

REMOTE – The identified candidate should have their own laptop available for this role, in case USC is unable to provide a loaner laptop
