District Energy Maintenance Technician

Halverson and Blaiser Group is looking for highly skilled Maintenance Technician who has experience in district energy.

Compensation: $39.00-$45.00 Per hour

You’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our properties safe, functional, and looking great. You’ll work closely with the Community Manager and residents to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance
• Maintain plumbing, electrical, carpentry
• Prepare units for new residents (cleaning, painting, repairs)
• Keep common areas, grounds, and workspaces clean and safe
• Rotate on-call duties for after-hours emergencies

What You Bring:

• 5 years or more experience in building maintenance
• District energy experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Chief or 1st class boiler's license
• Valid MN Class C Driver’s License + insurance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment:

• Hands-on, active work—indoors and outdoors
• Lifting, climbing, and physical mobility required
• Downtown St Paul multiple mixed use sites
