Our client is a rapidly growing global life sciences service organization that partners with pharmaceutical companies to accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative therapies.
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for Northern California. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across pharmaceutical organizations. Drive new business opportunities from lead generation through contract execution. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with venture-backed pharmaceutical companies and established industry players. Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and deliver against revenue objectives. Collaborate with technical, project management, and leadership teams to develop customized client solutions. Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and regional life sciences forums. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the biotechnology ecosystem. Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence to senior leadership.

A successful Director/Senior Director, Business Development should have: Proven success in business development, sales, or alliance management within the life sciences industry. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development, CMC, CDMO, CRO, or related outsourced services. Established relationships within the Northern California biotechnology and pharmaceutical community. Demonstrated ability to engage scientific, operational, and executive-level stakeholders. Experience managing complex sales cycles and strategic partnerships. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in a high-growth environment.
