Our 246-bed facility is one of the largest free-standing psychiatric hospitals in the United States. We are located on a serene 37-acre campus in the north Atlanta of Dunwoody, serving as the setting for the treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, adults and seniors. Peachford's comprehensive programs treat disorders such as bipolar disorder, psychological trauma, depression and anxiety, mental illness and addictive disease disorders such as alcoholism, drug addiction and substance abuse. The Director of Outpatient Services assumes responsibility for the functioning of the outpatient partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for children, adolescent, adults and seniors as well as the virtual IOP program by developing and implementing quality programming. The position creates policies, procedures, PI programs, and provides for the supervision of licensed and non-licensed clinical therapists. Serves as clinical liaison with the continuum of care services. Contributes to the development of programs for specialized patient populations for outpatient patients and works through the continuum of care. In conjunction with community resources, contributes to the maintenance of relationships with outside agencies, private practitioners, insurers and family members. Participates in county and regional meetings of the public mental health providers. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's specific needs and provide clinical treatment and care. This position is a member of the hospital management team and is directly reponsible for all outpatient services. Experience: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience and 2 years of leadership/management experience in a behavioral health setting with case management and utilization review processes. Previous supervisory experience with inpatient and outpatient clinical therapists. A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience of non-licensed clinical therapists is required. Previous continuum of care experience highly preferred. Licensure/Certification: Georgia LCSW, LPC preferred.
