Description

General Manager, South Florida
Miami / Fort Lauderdale

We manage vacation rental properties in Miami and Fort Lauderdale and we’re looking for a GM to grow our South Florida portfolio. This is a sales-first role. You’ll own new owner acquisition and market expansion, backed by an operation you’ll keep running at a high level so every owner you sign stays happy and refers the next one.

What you’ll do:
  • Build and work a pipeline of property owners, investors, developers, and realtors to add new units to the portfolio.
  • Pitch, negotiate, and close management agreements with new owners.
  • Develop referral partnerships with realtors, property managers, HOAs, and local investors.
  • Represent the company at local industry events, networking groups, and owner meetings.
  • Own the owner relationship end to end: onboarding, monthly reporting, performance reviews, and renewals.
  • Work with our corporate team on pricing and revenue strategy to maximize owner returns (your best sales tool).
  • Oversee daily operations including cleaners, vendors, turnovers, maintenance, and inspections so guest reviews and owner satisfaction stay strong.

What we’re looking for:
  • 3+ years in vacation rental management, property management, real estate, or a related sales role.
  • A track record of generating your own leads and closing deals.
  • An existing network in South Florida real estate, or the hustle to build one fast.
  • Comfortable picking up the phone, walking into a meeting cold, and asking for the business.
  • Self-starter who can run a market without someone checking in.
  • Strong communicator in person and in writing.

Nice to have:
  • Experience with property management software and Airbnb/VRBO.
  • Spanish fluency.
  • Vendor and contractor relationships in Miami-Dade or Broward.

Compensation:
Base salary plus significant commission on every new property you bring in. Top performers will earn well above base.
