Title: Director of Business Development - Power Sector
Location: Remote (U.S.) - travel to DFW a couple times a month and to clients/conferences as needed
Salary: $165,000 - $200,000 (flexible)
Bonus: 25% annual incentive (based on personal and company performance; historically exceeded goals)
Long-Term Incentive: Annual grant with multi-year vesting

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Evaluate early-stage development opportunities for new power plants.
  • Structure commercial agreements including PPAs, tolling agreements, joint ventures, and other deal documents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with utilities, municipalities, co-ops, industrials, and data centers.
  • Collaborate across development, engineering, legal, finance, risk, and regulatory teams to advance projects.
  • Track market trends, policy changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events and stakeholder meetings.
What We're Looking For:
  • 7+ years in power sector business development, asset management, commercial operations, or origination.
  • Proven track record of structuring and closing power generation deals.
  • Strong understanding of power markets and regulatory frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with natural gas, renewable energy, and battery storage development preferred.
  • Familiarity with interconnection and permitting processes a plus.
