The Director of Business Development is responsible for selling TeamHealth's Post‑Acute services to prospective clients by identifying target prospects, qualifying opportunities, coordinating the full sales cycle, and successfully closing new business. Core responsibilities include:
- Prospect Identification & Qualification: Build and refine a targeted list of SNFs, ALFs, LTACs, and health system PAC partners within the region
- Pipeline Development & Management: Maintain a disciplined pipeline with clear stages, forecast accuracy, and consistent movement toward close
- Sales Process Leadership: Coordinate discovery, solution design, proposal development, contracting, and implementation handoff
- Face‑to‑Face Engagement: Secure and execute high‑value in‑person meetings with C‑suite and PAC leadership to uncover needs and present TeamHealth's solutions
- Inside Sales Team Leadership: Direct and support inside sales resources to ensure lead generation, qualification, and outreach cadence
- Proposal & Pro‑Forma Development: Lead creation of tailored proposals, collaborating with operations, finance, and clinical leadership to ensure accuracy and alignment
- Strategic Planning: Develop regional growth strategies, whitespace analysis, and multi‑year expansion plans aligned with VPBD direction
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity, regulatory changes, consolidation trends, and PAC operational challenges to inform strategy and messaging
- Stakeholder Value Creation: Build trust with facility executives by demonstrating clinical quality, operational efficiency, and financial impact of TeamHealth's PAC model
- Trade Show & Industry Presence: Represent TeamHealth at conferences, trade shows, and PAC industry events to expand brand visibility and generate leads
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, clinical leadership, finance, legal, and implementation teams to ensure seamless delivery and long‑term client satisfaction
