Development Project Manager - Affordable Housing

The Development Project Manager - Affordable Housing will:

• Manage affordable housing development projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with municipal, state, and regulatory agencies to secure project approvals.
• Navigate affordable housing funding programs, financing structures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with consultants, design teams, contractors, and community stakeholders.
• Support project underwriting, budgeting, and funding applications.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple developments.
• Prepare materials for meetings, approvals, and government agency submissions.
• Work closely with senior development leadership to advance projects from concept through construction.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and public agencies.
• Contribute to the successful execution of multiple affordable housing initiatives throughout Greater Boston.

A successful Development Project Manager - Affordable Housing should have:

• Minimum 5 years of affordable housing development experience.
• Direct experience with affordable housing projects in Massachusetts, preferably Boston.
• Strong understanding of affordable housing finance, subsidy programs, funding sources, and project structures.
• Experience working with city, state, and government entities involved in development approvals.
• Knowledge of entitlement, permitting, and approval processes for affordable housing projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
