Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Memphis, TN (Remote). This role involves analyzing and supporting existing TIBCO BW applications while driving modernization efforts through Java Spring Boot and MuleSoft-based solutions.

Rate Range: $80/Hour to $84/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Custom Software Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Analyze, support, and maintain existing TIBCO BW applications running in production environments.

• Review and assess current application implementations across lower environments to identify modernization opportunities.

• Participate in technical design and brainstorming sessions to define migration strategies from TIBCO BW to Java Spring Boot and MuleSoft.

• Develop, test, and implement scalable Java Full Stack and Spring Boot solutions to support business requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, performance optimization, and successful application modernization.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure application reliability and stability throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with TIBCO BW, Java Full Stack development, MuleSoft, and Java Spring Boot.

• Proven experience supporting and analyzing production TIBCO BW applications, with the ability to understand complex integrations and business processes.

• Strong expertise in application modernization, including designing, developing, and migrating solutions to Java Spring Boot and MuleSoft platforms.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $84.00 per hour
