Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced BAS Sales Engineer to help grow our building automation and controls business throughout the Nashville and Middle Tennessee market. This position combines technical BAS knowledge with relationship-driven sales. You'll work directly with building owners, mechanical contractors, engineers, general contractors, and facility teams to identify opportunities and develop practical building automation and energy management solutions. Projects include new construction, system upgrades, retrofits, service, and ongoing controls improvements across commercial and institutional facilities.

What You'll Do
Develop new BAS and HVAC controls opportunities throughout Middle Tennessee
Build relationships with building owners, contractors, engineers, facility managers, and industry partners
Identify opportunities for new BAS installations, upgrades, retrofits, service agreements, and energy solutions
Meet with customers to understand existing systems, facility challenges, and project goals
Review plans, specifications, sequences of operation, and mechanical systems
Perform site walks and assist with developing project scope
Partner with estimating, engineering, project management, and field teams to develop solutions and proposals
Present proposals and technical solutions to customers
Manage opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and project handoff
Grow existing accounts and develop long-term customer relationships

What We're Looking For
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), HVAC controls, DDC, or commercial HVAC
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
Familiarity with BACnet and DDC control systems
Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation
Experience in BAS sales, estimating, applications engineering, project management, or controls engineering
Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills
Existing relationships within the Nashville mechanical, construction, engineering, or facilities market are a plus
