Summary
Client is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant III to join a dynamic accounting team in a hybrid work environment based in San Diego, CA. This role requires a strong background in public accounting and involves supporting complex accounting activities across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have significant exposure to M&A transactions and be comfortable working in a growth-oriented environment with opportunities to support general accounting activities when not engaged in M&A initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support complex accounting activities across multiple entities
• Assist with and support M&A-related accounting initiatives
• Provide general accounting support as needed when not working on M&A projects
• Work across multiple entities in a growth-oriented environment

• Former public accounting experience (Big 4 experience required)
• M&A experience required
• CPA (nice to have)
• Experience with accounting systems is a plus, including Oracle, Planful, Acumatica (Oracle/Acumatica preferred)
