JOB SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision, provides a wide array of legal services to administration, medical & professional staff, & employees of Rady Childrens Health & its affiliates & subsidiaries. Protects the organizations legal interests, works in collaboration with key stakeholders, advises organization on substantive matters including corporate, regulatory, compliance & employment issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree (non MD)
- 3 years of experience
- Must be proficient in contracting and negotiations in the health care environment
- Active Member in good standing of the State Bar of California
- Demonstrated knowledge of California and federal case law, statutes, and administrative regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience
- Experience in health care operations
The current salary range for this position is $74.51 to $102.45.
