    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Coordinator, Legal Administration, works under the direction of the Senior Director, Legal, the Construction & Claims (C&C) Team, and other Universal Creative Legal Department leadership, and is responsible for supporting the C&C Team with the preparation, issuance, and monitoring of various construction notices, certificates, and documents. This role also supports maintenance of C&C Team documents, trackers, and repositories, and supports other C&C Team trainings, initiatives, and tasks.   ​#LI-DNI

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support the C&C Team in the preparation of various construction notices by utilizing and modifying established digital forms and in accordance with the directions of the C&C Team and Legal Department policies and procedures. 
    • Monitors and tracks contractual insurance documents and requirements across various systems, and ensures all data is accurately entered and tracked. Maintain, migrate, and archive various insurance documents, including both digital and hardcopy files, in accordance with C&C Team and Legal Department policies and procedures. 
    • Support the Universal Creative Legal Department with timely issuance of various notices, filings, and other documents via eRecording, mail, shipping service, email, DocuSign, and other methods of transmission at the direction of the C&C Team. Log, track, and conduct follow ups on the various notices, filings, and documents issued.
    • Support the C&C Team and Legal Department with the creation, tracking, storing, and distribution of Legal templates, presentation decks, trainings, status reports, and other informational logs under the supervision of the C&C Team.
    • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION:  

    • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent, or technical school required.

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • 2+ years office experience, legal environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), DocuSign, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
