Duties

Are you the type of person that enjoys serving healthy meals each day? Do you enjoy the laughter and smiles of young children? If you said yes to both of these questions we have the opportunity for you! The Wilder Child Development Center is looking for someone that is passionate about health and providing appetizing, well balanced meals for our children from ages 16 months-5 years old.

Job Qualifications

The right candidate would possess the following qualifications:

A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day; Ability to work in a child-centered environment; Must have knowledge of the CACFP requirements in respect to portion sizes, food production records. A Food Manager's License is preferred, Serve Safe is required. One year experience cooking for and serving large groups of people required. Basic math and reading skills. Must be computer literate. Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers effectively to complete essential functions (menu planning, meal tracking, food ordering); Ability to work cooperatively as a team member with a diverse group of staff and clients; Ability to prepare culturally diverse meals that represent the clients and families at the center.
