In this role, youll help create a positive dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff by preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    What Youll Do

    As a Cook II, you will:

    • Prepare and serve food according to established recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.

    • Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting professionally with patients, visitors, hospital staff, and fellow team members.

    • Demonstrate expertise in at least one key service area, including:

    • Grill

    • Room Service

    • Catering

    • CafĂ© Service Line

    • Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures to ensure food quality and safety.

    • Inspect food items for freshness, appearance, and quality, reporting any concerns to leadership.

    • Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including proper labeling, FIFO practices, hand hygiene, and glove use.

    • Operate kitchen equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures.

    • Complete assigned opening and closing duties, including food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and workstation setup.

    • Support overall department operations by assisting team members as needed.

    Job Requirements

    What Youll Bring

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Culinary training or certificate program preferred.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in food service, hospitality, culinary operations, or a related field.
    • Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
    • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
