Community Liaison - Hospice
Job Overview
Seeking a self-driven and compassionate Community Liaison to build relationships within the healthcare community and support hospice service growth. This role focuses on outreach, referrals, and patient-family engagement while representing hospice care services in the field.
Compensation & Incentives
- Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 per year
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Uncapped commission
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital staff, discharge planners, social workers, and care facilities
- Conduct regular outreach to strengthen referral networks
- Drive referral growth through consistent field visits and engagement activities
- Represent hospice services as a trusted community resource
- Lead initial conversations with patients and families regarding hospice care options
- Clearly explain services and support informed, compassionate decision-making
- Support census growth by increasing awareness and service preference in the community
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare sales or marketing experience required
- Hospice or palliative care marketing experience strongly preferred
- Strong ability to build and maintain professional healthcare relationships
- Experience working with physicians, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Clinical background is a plus
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance required
