Community Liaison - Hospice

Job Overview

Seeking a self-driven and compassionate Community Liaison to build relationships within the healthcare community and support hospice service growth. This role focuses on outreach, referrals, and patient-family engagement while representing hospice care services in the field.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 per year
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • Uncapped commission

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital staff, discharge planners, social workers, and care facilities
  • Conduct regular outreach to strengthen referral networks
  • Drive referral growth through consistent field visits and engagement activities
  • Represent hospice services as a trusted community resource
  • Lead initial conversations with patients and families regarding hospice care options
  • Clearly explain services and support informed, compassionate decision-making
  • Support census growth by increasing awareness and service preference in the community

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare sales or marketing experience required
  • Hospice or palliative care marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional healthcare relationships
  • Experience working with physicians, healthcare providers, and community organizations
  • Clinical background is a plus
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance required
