General Position Summary: The Employment Services Manager is a key member of Shangri-Las Employment Services Leadership Team and is responsible for leading employment and community inclusion services for individuals with disabilities. This position oversees staff supervision and development, program operations, compliance, participant services, quality assurance, and financial performance. The Employment Services Manager works collaboratively with staff, participants, families, funding agencies, employers, and community partners to ensure high-quality, person-centered services that promote meaningful employment and community engagement. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to balance operational responsibilities with a commitment to exceptional participant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Status: Exempt - Full Time 40 Hours
Starting salary:$4678.26/mo
Salary Range: $4678.26 to 5919.33
Shift information: Typical schedule is Monday through Friday Day shift. Note: This position is responsible for supporting on-call and service coverage coordination. Start and end time varies based on operational needsLocation: Salem
Reports to: Employment Services Director
Qualifications:
Two (2) year degree in human services or related field, with three (3) years of work experience in human services. Two (2) years of experience must have been in a position that included supervisory and training responsibilities. Additional experience may be substituted for educational requirements. Must have or be willing to complete within the first 6 months of employment, ACRE certification or CESP. Preference will be given to those individuals that have experience in community employment services and have hands on experience.
