Role: Communications Specialist - People & Culture
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Draft effective and engaging employee communications for HUB articles, staff emails, and intranet content.
Support People & Culture departmental and divisional communication efforts.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, accessible content for employees.
Assist in updating and maintaining HUB pages to improve navigation, accessibility, and content freshness.
Create or update visuals, layouts, and presentations using tools like PowerPoint and Canva to support clear communication and match client's brand.
Be comfortable working with intranet tools, content management systems, and basic graphic design software.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and plain language.
Ability to create or update visuals, layouts, and presentations using tools like PowerPoint and Canva.
Comfortable working with intranet tools/content management systems to post and update content.
Basic understanding of graphic design and accessibility best practices.
Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams).
Desired: Background in HR
Location: Downtown Seattle/Hybrid- can work partly remote.
Pay: $39.05 per hour
