Description We are seeking a self-motivated, strategic communications professional to join our team to support CEO and senior leadership communications efforts. In this role, you'll be part of a team of communications professionals dedicated to supporting Amazon's CEO and the company's most senior leaders. You'll help develop and implement communication strategies that effectively communicate Amazon's priorities with employees, customers, and influential external audiences across earned and owned channels. This position is based in Seattle, Washington and requires regular national and international travel. Key job responsibilities - Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with Amazon business priorities - Create impactful, high-standard content including speeches, talking points, and written materials that articulate Amazon's vision and strategy - Build and execute strategic engagement plans for key events and speaking opportunities - Provide real-time counsel and communication support within tight timelines, anticipating issues and developing proactive response strategies - Build and maintain relationships with communications teams, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders - Monitor industry trends and news cycles and apply learnings to strengthen our approach Basic Qualifications - 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience - Bachelor's degree - Demonstrated excellence in writing and editing across multiple formats and audiences - Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities and deliver quality work under tight deadlines - Strong judgment and ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling narratives Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting C-suite executives or senior leadership in fast-paced, high-visibility environments - Experience in technology, retail, or large-scale consumer-facing industries Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
