    Description

Bring Your Champion Mindset. Make an Impact.

Join Champions First Credit Union as a Collections Legal Admin Specialist!

At Champions First Credit Union, being a champion is more than a name; it’s how we show up for our members, our communities, and each other. We’re growing across North Florida, and we’re looking for an organized Collections Legal Admin Specialist to help us keep that promise.

If you thrive on keeping deadlines, records, and people on track, and want to build a career, not just take a job, this is your opportunity.

    What’s in It for You?

We take care of our team the way we ask our team to take care of our members:

    • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
    • Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health, dental, and vision insurance
    • 401(k) Retirement Plan, up to 4% employer match
    • Profit sharing program
    • Generous paid time off — vacation, sick, and personal time, federal holidays, your birthday, and your work anniversary

NOTE: The list of essential functions is not exhaustive. It may be supplemented as necessary from time to time.

    What You’ll Be Doing

As a member of our Collections team, you’ll be the link between the Credit Union, our legal counsel, and the Collections department, making sure timelines are met and records are accurate. Your role will include:

    • Legal Liaison – Serve as the primary contact between attorneys, the Collections department, and management on legal matters.
    • Judgments & Filings – Prepare documentation for filing judgments, track Final Judgments, and submit them for renewal when required.
    • Account Restricts & Holds – Place restricts and holds on member funds when garnishment, child support, and other approved notices arrive.
    • Bankruptcy Support – Act as the main point of contact during bankruptcies and bankruptcy repossessions, connecting our counsel with the member’s attorney.
    • Levy & Agency Support – Prepare documentation and pull files and data to assist our third-party collection agency.
    • Records & Tracking – Track stipulations and defaults, keep department logs current, and see re-age, extension, and work-out requests through to completion.
    • Reporting & Team Support – Gather data for Board documentation, balance department general ledger accounts, and help train new hires.
