SAGE Dining Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cold Prep Cook with baking experience to join our kitchen team at a private day school in St. Louis. In this role, you will prepare fresh, high-quality cold food items while supporting scratch baking production for daily meal service and special events.
Key responsibilities include preparing salads, sandwiches, parfaits, grab-and-go offerings, baked goods, breads, cookies, muffins, and desserts while ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met.
This position also supports catering and special-event production, keeps workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked, and collaborates with the culinary team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Available overtime for catering events with advance notice.
Pay Type:
$18.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations.
Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
