We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both small and large scale projects, utilizing the latest CNC technology in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and revising CNC programs, utilizing their knowledge of G code, 5 axis, micrometers, lathe, tool and die, mill, and tooling. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and write precise CNC programs for a variety of machines including but not limited to lathes, mills, and 5-axis machines.
2. Interpret technical drawings and CAD data to translate into machine language (G code).
3. Utilize micrometers and precision measuring tools to ensure parts are machined to exact specifications.
4. Work with the Tool and Die team to design and create new and innovative tooling solutions.
5. Perform regular tests and inspections on CNC machines to ensure functionality and efficiency.
6. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
7. Train and guide machine operators or less experienced programmers as needed.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs.
9. Continuously improve processes and procedures to reduce scrap and increase productivity.
10. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the engineering industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of G code, 5 axis, micrometers, lathe, tool and die, mill, and tooling.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD data.
4. Strong understanding of machine tool capabilities, tooling setups, and machine tool controls.
5. Solid problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
7. Ability to train and mentor less experienced team members.
8. Strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
9. Proven track record of improving processes and increasing productivity.
10. Relevant certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
