Student Intern (OPS Clerk) for the Office of Academic & Student Affairs (05071)

The student intern will assist the Office of Academic and Student Affairs staff in daily activities with the opportunity to work on various special projects. This is an established internship program in which the intern reports to a Director of Academic and Student Affairs. The commitment is 20 hours per week between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

*Employment to begin on July 1, 2026

Responsibilities, duties, and activities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conduct relevant research and data analysis
  • Assist in creating reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with staff on special projects as needed
  • Participate in regular professional development training opportunities
  • Support unit and agency efforts during the Legislative Session
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher and at least 60 completed undergraduate credit hours.
  • Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience with Adobe and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom
Preferred Requirements
  • Currently enrolled graduate student or advanced upper division undergraduate student
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Interest in government operations, higher education, and/or public administration.
  • Prior office experience

Hiring Range
