Classroom Assistant – Tulsa, OK
Do you enjoy working with children and helping create a positive, caring classroom environment? HireCall is seeking dependable and compassionate Classroom Assistants to support early childhood classrooms throughout the Tulsa area.
Job Duties
Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
Help provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children
Interact with infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children
Assist with diapering, toilet training, meals, and other daily care needs
Provide positive guidance and supervision
Help maintain a clean, organized classroom
Work cooperatively with teachers, staff, and other classroom support personnel
Be flexible and willing to assist at different school locations as needed
Perform other classroom-related duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-age children preferred
CDA, Para-Professional Certification, or currently working toward required credentials may be required depending on assignment
Dependable with strong attendance
Patient, caring, and comfortable working in a busy classroom environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and be active throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Bilingual skills are a plus
