About the Position

TransForce is seeking CDL A Flatbed Drivers to support operations in Baltimore, Maryland. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. Three openings are available, with potential for temp-to-perm employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $300 per day
• Weekly compensation: $1,500 per week
• Per diem: $50
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start times: Between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Layovers: Two per week in a hotel or sleeper truck
• Anticipated start date: May 11, 2026

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed truck on local and regional routes.
• Transport wood moulding in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
• Secure freight using straps and complete required handling tasks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping freight.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Flatbed and manual transmission experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
