    Our Purpose

    We at Teradyne Robotics, a division of Teradyne is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (Key Account Manager), South Asia to drive growth in focused segments and key accounts across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth in key accounts for our portfolio of Universal Robots- Collaborative Robots (Cobots) and Mobile Industrial Robots- Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation or robotics, a proven track record in key account management, and the ability to build and execute growth with absolute alignment to our regional and global vision.

    He/she is part of the sales management team and reports to the Business Director, South Asia.

    Opportunity Overview

    Key account management:

    • Support business goals for chosen key accounts that are aligned.

    Support strategic plans to scale business in these identified accounts via liaison activities.

    • Support key account plans to improve account penetration and facilitate growth via liaison activities
    • Identify new key accounts and end users to while maintaining existing ones.
    • Focus is on identifying key accounts: End users, Machine Builders- OEMs or SIs.
    • Leverage regional partners and channel ecosystem to support and develop growth at key accounts.

    Business process management:

    • Diligence to create new opportunities in the business process pertaining to key accounts.
    • Periodically update and maintain business process with latest updates.
    • Identify new opportunities and coordinate ship dates for delivery schedules

    Business Relationship Management:

    • Role also requires travel to key accounts and log calls and update on the business process.
    • Use prescribed the business process tools and update accordingly.
    • Follow up on leads that arise from key accounts and drive towards achieve business goals.
    • Goal is to create new opportunities and provide dedicated focus to develop these opportunities
    • Share feedback to service team to share updates on necessary support towards key accounts.

    Success Criteria

    • Identify new key accounts in new business segments of electronics, automotive, F&B, FMCG.
    • Focus on new start-up ecosystem in the robotics ecosystem to support growth.
    • Success as a value key account manager by supporting business initiatives and assisting in meeting commercial objectives,

    • 10+ years of experience in sales roles, preferably in robotics, automation, or industrial technology.
    • Strong understanding of key account development, with high focus on End Users, Machine Builders- OEMs and SI ecosystem.
    • Engage and leverage cross-functional teams and manage complex sales cycles.
    • Develop key account plans and execute strategy with focus to create and close opportunities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Robust analytical skills and strategy development.
    • Able to hold and conduct tough conversations.
    • Holistic and forward-thinking mindset.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
    • Good command of English.
    • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
