Success in this role comes from influencing specifications, identifying new project opportunities, expanding market share, and positioning REHAU as the preferred partner for innovative plumbing and hydronic solutions. This position requires regular in-person engagement throughout the territory, including customer visits, jobsite meetings, product training, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies aligned with regional and company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, contractors, distributors, builders, and other industry influencers.
  • Identify, track, and convert commercial and residential project opportunities.
  • Drive specification-based sales by influencing engineers and project stakeholders early in the design process.
  • Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and educational programs for customers and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturer Representatives, Marketing, Product Management, and Sales leadership to expand market presence.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage opportunities, customer activities, project tracking, and territory performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed territory objectives while maintaining customer profitability and long-term account growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years of sales or business development experience within plumbing, hydronics, HVAC, mechanical systems, building products, or related construction industries.
  • Experience working with engineers, contractors, distributors, and specification-driven sales environments.
  • Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and grow market share.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and understand project-based construction sales cycles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing a territory and multiple priorities.
  • Must reside within Southern Texas.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% throughout the territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience selling plumbing, hydronic, HVAC, or mechanical building systems.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction processes and specification sales.

What You'll Bring

  • A customer-focused and relationship-driven mindset.
